What is an ETA?
Electronic Travel Authorization. It is an online alternative to traditional visas, reducing paperwork and cost.
Do all countries offer an ETA?
No. China and Russia generally require traditional visas.
Is ETA for all travel purposes?
Mostly for tourism, business, and family visits. Not for long-term work.
Can I enter by land or sea with an ETA?
Varies by country. India allows flight and select seaports.
Are ETAs valid for cruises?
For India and Sri Lanka, yes. Others may require traditional visas.
Why prefer ETA?
Cheaper, faster, and you keep your original passport.
Disadvantages of ETA?
None, but not all visa types are available via ETA.

How to apply?

Photo and passport scan requirements?
Passport scans must be colour, fully visible, high resolution. Photos must be colour, biometric, frontal, closed lips, no glasses reflex, white background.
No scanner?
You can send documents by post or take high-quality photos with your smartphone without reflections or shadows.
