The Embassy lists two STANDARD VISA options: apply in-person at the Embassy, or apply by mail to the Embassy.

Consular counter hours (EST): Monday / Wednesday / Friday 09:30 am–12:00 pm. Closed on 2 September and all U.S. federal holidays.
Part IV business hours: 9:00 A.M–12:00 P.M and 02:00 P.M–04:30 P.M, Monday through Friday, except Vietnam and United States holidays.

Processing (Embassy page):
- If you have not had a letter of approval: five (05) working days after a complete application with all required documentation and fee; expedited 1 to 4 working days upon request (issued at the Embassy).
- If you already had a letter of approval: three (03) business days; expedited 24-hour processing (additional fee is required).
