The 180-day limit for 1-year and 5-year Tourist eVisas refers to your total stay in India during a calendar year.
Only U.S., U.K., Canadian, and Japanese passport holders may stay up to 180 days per visit. Most other eligible passport holders may stay up to 90 days per visit. Check the stay limit for your nationality before you travel.

When your Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) arrives, check that it shows GRANTED and that your personal and passport details are correct. Review the travel dates, permitted entries and stay conditions. If you find an error, contact us promptly before traveling.

- Your arrival airport or seaportConfirm that your first entry point accepts eVisa arrivals.
- eArrival CardYou can complete the free electronic arrival declaration within 72 hours before arrival. It is separate from your visa and does not authorize entry.
