How long is the India Business eVisa valid?

It is valid for 365 days from the date the ETA is granted and allows multiple entries. Each continuous stay must not exceed 180 days. Check the dates and conditions on your granted visa before traveling.

Can I work for an Indian company on this visa?

No. The Business eVisa does not authorize employment or day to day work in India. Travelers coming to execute a project or fulfill a contract generally need an Employment Visa.

Do I need a business card or invitation letter?

The government requires a business card and details of the Indian firm or company connected with your visit. An invitation letter may be used when applicable. Documents must be in English.

When can I apply for an Indian Business eVisa?

The Indian government generally accepts Business eVisa applications from 4 to 120 days before the intended arrival date. Apply early enough to allow time for our review and any corrections.
